THERE'S a singing surprise in store for shoppers in the region this weekend.
Isla St Clair, who hosted television's The Generation Game with the late Larry Grayson, is singing folk music in the Cleveland Shopping Centre, Middlesbrough.
She makes her appearance tomorrow - the second day of the Maritime Folk Festival - which is launched today by Teesside folk singer Richard Grainger and local shanty group, Stormy Weather Boys.
He said: "Last year, we held the first maritime festival for one day. It was such a success we thought we would repeat it this year and take it to other Teesside towns.
