FIRMS in Hartlepool have been invited to find out more about environmental and cost benefits of liquid petroleum gas (LPG).
Hartlepool Borough Council's public protection division has arranged a seminar in response to the number of queries from companies about the fuel.
Paul Dixon, the council's environmental and health coordinator, said: "LPG averages 37p per litre, compared with a cost of 79p per litre for diesel."
The free seminar takes place on Monday, November 6, at the civic centre from 5.30pm until 8pm. Call (01429) 523358 for more details.
