A THIEF ran out of luck after stealing a bag from a car, Teesside Crown Court heard.
The woman driver spotted Martin Moy, 26, running off. Her cries for help were heard by two off-duty policemen who gave chase and collared Moy in a garden in Newcommen Terrace, Redcar.
Moy, of Tennyson Avenue, Grangetown, Middlesbrough, pleaded guilty to the theft on September 7 and breach of licence. He was jailed for 11 months
