BIRDspotters are invited to join a special trip around the Stockton area this weekend.
Countryside Wardens from the Castle Eden Walkway have borrowed a minibus to take them on a nature trail on Sunday.
Expert birdwatchers will be on board to point out any unusual or exciting sightings.
Ian Bond, assistant countryside warden for Stockton Borough Council, said: "This is a very good time of the year for birdwatching.
"There are still lots of migrating birds around, along with some winter visitors, which means there's a good chance of spotting some unusual birds."
The bus will leave Castle Eden Walkway at 9am on Sunday and birdwatchers should ring (01740) 630011 to book a place
