IT will be a family affair when a talented young violinist gives a recital in her home city.
Holly Maleham, 18, of Durham, will perform the popular Max Bruch Violin Concerto, accompanied on piano by her mother Cherry, a piano teacher.
The recital will be given at St Oswald's Church tomorrow, and will also include Beethoven's First Violin Sonata and an accompanied Bach Partita.
Holly, a former pupil of Durham Johnston School, is studying at Chetham's Music School in Manchester with Richard Deakin.
In her home city she studied with Jean Provine.
The concert starts at 8pm and tickets are available on the door. They cost £3 for adults and £2 for concessions
