LIFE in County Durham as seen through the eyes of young people is to go on show in the Millennium Dome.
More than 80 pupils from north Durham comprehensive schools Moorside, Tanfield, Dene Community School of Technology and Belmont devised the presentation, which will be shown on November 15.
The performance, Our Town Story, will show their ideas of what it is like to live in the county.
Some of the students developed dance and drama or composed and performed music, while others took photographs and developed sketches into paintings using ICT - information communication technology.
"Since then they have been rehearsing the final production and putting together the exhibition," said Carolyn Earlam, Durham County Council's art education inspector.
"There will be a special performance for parents, friends and guests and then the production will go on tour before the big day in the dome.
