CHILDREN at a Redcar primary school have been going mad for maths.
Add Ings Up at Ings Farm Primary School, Stirling Road, involved 400 pupils in a series of fun and imaginative activities in the main hall and playground.
The week's events were the school's input into the national Maths Year 2000, as well as a celebration of the second year of its National Numeracy Strategy.
Parents and the school community were encouraged to join in, with information packs and invitations to visit events.
The school's maths co-ordinator, Helen Malbon said: "We're hoping it will have been a really good experience.
"The aim was to get the children active in learning about maths in a fun way and we devised a lot for them to do. They definitely enjoyed it."
