CHILDREN got into the Halloween spirit yesterday by making spooky kites and hats.
The event took place at Preston Hall Museum, Eaglescliffe.
kite maker Eric Stephenson, showed the youngsters how to make and decorate kites and hats.
Some of the children also had their faces painted.
Mark Rowland Jones, Stockton Borough Council's museums development officer said: "The haunting activities kept the little horrors busy all day.
