TWO local authorities are asking residents for their views on a range of services, from refuse collection to leisure facilities.
Harrogate Borough and North Yorkshire County Councils have sent out detailed questionnaires to gauge public satisfaction with their performances.
Leader of Harrogate Council, Geoff Webber, said: "I would urge those who receive the questionnaire to complete and return it as this is a genuine opportunity for local people to have their say on the future development of services."
The survey questionnaires are now being delivered and the results will be analysed by independent companies.
