After a lapse of 18 months, affiliated show jumping returned to Holmeside Park, Edmondsley and, despite low entries, the quality of jumping was excellent.
Adam Valks scored a double win with Sagittarius II taking the 11 years and under and the intermediate open, while Darren Smith from Thornaby, who is trained by Peter Allen, won the small pony open on his Royal International finalist Flyaway Peter and also took the Winter 138cm.
Kelly Douglas took the Foxhunter on New Inn Hot Shot, while Alison Young on Bensons Pure Gold and Nikki Pow were the other winners.
Donna Mewse was on top form at Stainsby Grange, Thornaby where she filled the first two places in the Foxhunter with Bold Reality and DJA's Soft Touch. She also took the Newcomers with Bold Reality ahead of Stainsby proprietor Peter Allen on Stainsby Powerplay.
Christopher Hill took the British Novice riding Seacroft Breeze, while Stephanie Roundsmith from Billingham took the Discovery ahead of Ruth Bowman and Kavalba Crusader.
Scottish Ladies champion Joanne Tanfield took the Members Cup and open with Donna Bonita, beating Christopher Hill on Teds Way.
