THE power of the theatre is being used to press home the anti-racism message to youngsters across North Yorkshire.
More than 300 young people are learning about the issue during a tour of the county organised by the county council's continuing education unit.
The Theatre Group Blah Blah Blah uses the play Grass by writer Mary Cooper, the story of a racist attack, as a starting point to explore young people's attitude to race and racism.
During recent months, the show has been seen by youngsters at five youth centres across the county.
A second run of the play will be staged later next month with a performance at Northallerton College on November 15.
Other performances will be at the Norton Youth Centre, on November 16, and the Graham School at Scarborough, on November 16.
