A TROUPE of toddlers put their best feet forward to launch a football club's charity walk for children.
The youngsters were the first to set foot on the turf at Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium in the Great Boro Toddle yesterday.
They were joined by more than 280 children from schools throughout Teesside.
Organised as part of the NSPCC's Full Stop Campaign, the event was designed to put the club among the top fundraisers for the charity. A league table is being drawn up to encourage soccer clubs taking part to compete for the top slot.
Diane O'Connell, a public relations officer for Middlesbrough Football Club, said: "Every Premiership club is raising money for this worthy cause.
"The NSPCC's Full Stop Campaign is a brilliant charity and we couldn't think of a better way to raise money than to get children involved."
