AN exhibition of stamps with a difference is being held in Darlington Art Gallery.
Film buff Tony Hillman is displaying his stamps, all of which are connected to the movie world.
Tony, from Darlington, has an extensive collection of film memorabilia, which started in 1955 when he began collecting autographs.
He already had a few stamps, but only began collecting them seriously about three years ago, when countries began featuring stamps to commemorate 100 years of cinema.
His stamps feature scenes from films, old and new, and the stars who were in them. Two cabinets are devoted to stamps featuring Walt Disney films.
The collection is from all over the world, including stamps from New Zealand with a scratchcard on, and gold leaf Star Trek stamps.
Tony says his collection must run into thousands of stamps.
The exhibition, at the gallery in Crown Street, is on now, and runs until the end of the month.
