Willington League
Willington Brewer's Droop made a very good two point home win over Willington Lion and Unicorn which was clinched when Brett Fleming beat Steve Barker in the final captains game. The Droop had singles wins from Jimmy Fleming, Jeff Wilson and Fred Williamson with Steve Barber and Kevin Bake replying for the Unicorn. The doubles were shared when Jimmy Fleming and Fred Williamson won for the home side and Kevin Bake and Steve Barber replied for the visitors.
Oakenshaw Club lead the table by a single point from the Black Horse Tavern and Cottles, although Cottles have played an extra match.

Crook League
The deciding doubles win gave Crook Travellers Rest A an odd point home win over Crook Queen's Head A. The home side had singles wins from Stephen Todd, Tony Storey and John Carroll whilst Tommy Longstaff, Neil Harker and Stephen Willey replied for the Queen's. In the decider Eddie Murphy and Tony Storey snatched the odd point victory for the Travellers when they beat John Howe and Tommy Longstaff.
The First Division leaders are Crook Olde Horse Shoe with a two point advantage over Crook Royal Sun. However there are four teams just a further three points adrift, all with a match in hand. Crook Mill House lead the Second Division by one point from Jelly's Bar, with the Olde Horse Shoe B and the Queen's Head B a further two points behind.

Tow Law and District League
Tow Law Cattle Mart B, the ladies team, stayed at the top of the table following their odd point home win over Sunniside Moss Inn. The Mart had singles wins from Heather Laing, Alison Hopps and Angela Armstrong with replied coming from John Beveridge and Billy McClay.
This leaves the Mart B three points clear of Tow Law Football Club, who beat the visiting Sunniside Comedian by the odd point. Tow Law Station are just one point behind the footballers, with both having a match in hand over the Mart B.

Sunniside Moss Inn went to the top of the table for the first time after they won all three pairs points to beat their hosts, the previous leaders, Tow Law New Market B. The home side had singles wins from Margaret Goodwin, Doris Elsbury and Shaun McGrath with the Moss levelling with wins from John Howe, Gerrard Beveridge and John Neil. This win puts the Moss two points ahead of the New Market A, who are just one point ahead of Esh McKennas.
