ONE of the region's leading harpsichord players is performing at the 17th-Century chapel at Redcar's Sir William Turner's Almshouses on Thursday.
David Bolton will perform with the Cleveland Chamber Ensemble and, as an added bonus, will be available to talk to the audience during the interval.
David has built more than 250 harpsichords, many sold in kit form for enthusiasts to assemble themselves.
Thursday's programme includes music by Purcell, sonatas by Handel and Tellemann and works by Vivaldi and Bach.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit residents of the almshouses.
Details and tickets, priced £12, are available from Sotheron's, the Redcar-based stationers, on (01642) 490401.
