Guisborough Town 0
Durham City 3
ONE of Guisborough's heaviest defeats of the season puts Durham City level on points with Albany Northern League leaders Bedlington.
With eight unbeaten matches behind them, Guisborough started brightly but the second half was all one-way traffic. On 47 minutes Balls made a fine save from a Michael Canavan's header, but from the resulting corner Mickey Taylor dived in to head the ball round the far post.
On the hour, visiting keeper Mark Riches booted a long clearance out of the area and the ball bounced on the edge of the area then over scrambling keeper into the back of the net. Gavin Mudd volleyed home Durham's third on 70 minutes.
Guisborough are at home tomorrow against Whitley Bay. Kick off 3pm
