THE following awards were presented at Marske Cricket Club's presentation evening.
The John Coulthard Shield for most consistent under 15, Lee Heslop; The Norman Goddard Cup for most promising under 15, Lee Hodgson; Romney & Jean White Cup for most promising under 17, James Riley; Parkinson Trophy, 3rd XI bowler of the year, Bracken Holtby; The Bulman Trophy, 3rd XI batsman of the year, Karl Bramwell; 3rd XI Captain's Award, Lee Heslop; The Goldsbrough Cup, 2nd XI bowler of the year, Jeff Morrison; Ladies Section Shield, 2nd XI batsman of the year, Mark Walker; D Beach Trophy, 1st XI fielder of the year, Mike Burrows; The R Keeling Cup, 1st XI bowler of the year, Tim Hood; The Eric Moxham Award, 1st XI batsman of the year, Tim Hood; The C Gilbert Trophy, Performance of the year, Tim Hood; The Mike Smith Trophy, For ability, loyalty and sportsmanship, Stuart Mackay.
Special awards were presented to Lee Hodgson for recording his first senior 50; David Lightwing for scoring 106 not out at Barnard Castle for the 3rd XI; and Mark Walker for scoring 120 at home to Yarm for the 2nd XI.
The club chairman Ian Bernard presented his trophy for services to Marske CC to cricket secretary Richard Sharratt.
