MORE help is being made available to people in the Hambleton area who need advice on a wide variety of issues.
The district's Citizens' Advice Bureau is increasing its service to people in the district with outreach sessions, and has amended opening hours at Northallerton headquarters.
The move follows the CAB's success in winning a grant from the National Lottery's Charities Board to fund two outreach workers.
Outreach sessions will now be held at Thirsk Town Hall, on Mondays, from 10am to 2pm; Easingwold Library, on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, from 10am to noon; and Stokesley Community Care Association office, on Fridays, from 10am to 1pm.
It is also hoped that, from the end of this month, an outreach session will be open at the Bedale Health Clinic, on Tuesdays, from 10am to noon.
In addition, the CAB has amended the times its headquarters on South Parade, Northallerton will be open. From now on, it will be 10am to 4pm, from Monday to Thursday and on Friday, for telephone advice only, from 10am to 1pm.
The CAB can be contacted on (01609) 770309.
