WORK to improve council homes will be discussed by Sedgefield Borough Council today.
The executive committee of the council will consider a report on proposals to improve 52 homes in Trimdon Village by installing central heating.
The project involves changing existing solid fuel heating with gas central heating. Radiators may also be replaced, and roof insulation may be increased if it is necessary.
The homes earmarked for improvement are in Blair Grove, Church Road, Main Road, Meadow Road and Wynyard Road.
