A CRICKET legend is coming to Guisborough to sign copies of his latest books.
Former umpire Dickie Bird, a Yorkshireman, will be at the Guisborough Bookshop, in Chaloner Street, Guisborough, on Tuesday, to sign copies of his latest paperback, White Cap and Bails.
It is not the first time Mr Bird has been to the bookshop - he was in Guisborough more than ten years ago, and bookshop owner Les Conroy is hoping he will have the same reaction he created last time.
"Last time he was here, there were queues right around the shop and the corner," he said.
"It is very good for the bookshop because he is very popular, especially in this area, which is a very big cricket area." Mr Bird will be at the bookshop from 11am until 1pm
