TWO teenagers from Darlington were remanded in custody by Harrogate magistrates yesterday after they admitted shoplifting in the town.
John Carl McManus, 19, of North Road, and Victoria Smith, 18, of Wordsworth Road, were said by prosecutor Sarah Tyrer to have gone to Boots, in Cambridge Street, on Wednesday and left with items worth £214,49.
Mr McManus also admitted obstructing police and driving without a licence, insurance or test certificate. They were remanded until November 30
