A Darlington school played host to an innovative two-day computer workshop.
Mowden Junior School invited teachers, parents and governors at schools in Darlington to sample the new technology available.
They were able to try out a number of activities and talk to information technology companies about the latest software.
This included Easiteach Maths, described as an interactive system to be used in maths lessons, and Espresso, a learning system providing on-line teaching activities.
Sessions were also held on multimedia presentations, using spreadsheets, and making use of the Internet in the classroom.
Mowden Junior School was chosen for the workshop because it has the largest junior school information technology suite in the town.
