COUNTRYSIDE wardens are inviting people to help create a bird-watching screen at Stillington Forest Park.
It will be made by weaving rods of living willow poles, which are put in the ground to take root.
Ian Bond, Stockton Borough Council's countryside warden at the park, said: "Robins, goldfinches, linnets and skylarks are regular visitors to the park and the new screen will mean that, come April, bird watchers can look on, blending into the scenery."
Wardens will start making the screen at 10am on Sunday, November 19. For further information contact Mr Bond on (01740) 630011.
