THE cast of a village primary school's nativity play will be wearing new costumes when the show is performed next month.
Grateful grandmother and keen seamstress, Margaret Hunter, produced outfits for the 30-strong cast of the festive production at West Rainton Primary School, near Durham.
It was Mrs Hunter's way of saying thank-you to the school, as all her three grand-daughters have been educated there.
The outfits can be viewed when the curtain goes up on the play at the School Avenue site on Monday, December 11, at 1.45pm
