POLICE are stepping up their search for a man who went missing while out on his bike.
Terence Stratton, 55, disappeared after setting off from his Middlesbrough home towards Ingleby Greenhow on Tuesday lunchtime.
His wife raised the alarm when he failed to return to Kingcraft Road, Marton Manor, by 4pm as expected.
Now Cleveland officers have enlisted the help of dogs and the mountain and air support sections in their search.
Photographs of Mr Stratton are being distributed in the Great Ayton and Stokesley area where he may have stopped off for refreshments.
Anyone who may have seen him is asked to contact Sergeant Beverley Gill on (01642) 303126
