TEENAGERS looking for career ideas are being encouraged to make a drama out of their future plans.
Touring theatre group Cragrats has been recruited to liven up a careers advice event for pupils due to leave Sunnydale School, Shildon, next summer.
The company has been sponsored by County Durham Training and Enterprise Council to present a 40-minute play about opportunities open to young people over 16.
They will visit the school on Wednesday, November 29, to work with year 11 youngsters.
On the same evening they willbe performing for parents of years 11 and 9 students from 7pm to 9pm.
After the performance parents can meet people who provide training and courses at sixth-form and further education colleges.
Sunnydale's head of careers, Ian Jerred, said: "Cragrats have worked at Sunnydale on two previous occasions and have been excellent. I am sure our students will gets a lot our of it and that parents will also find it very worthwhile. We hope as many people as possible will be present.
