THE first graduates of the new millennium will receive their degrees and certificates this week.
The first of ten ceremonies organised by the University of Teesside takes place tomorrow, as 2,000 graduates are presented with their honours.
The ceremonies are being held at Middlesbrough's Town Hall and certificates will be handed over by the university's vice-chancellor, Professor Derek Fraser.
Before tomorrow's ceremony a procession by academic staff and the board of governors will take place from the university to the town hall.
