A TRAVEL agent is going to the dogs in March, for her trip of a lifetime.
Toni Inns, 19, of Middlesbrough, is preparing to go with a team of huskies to the Arctic Circle.
She is hoping her challenge will help to raise money for the Disability Living Foundation, which helps disabled people and their carers get the information and equipment they need to live normal lives.
Toni, who began to look for an unusual outlet for her wanderlust after undergoing surgery to remove a tumour from her ear, works at Wallace Arnold, in Middlesbrough.
She needs to raise £3,500 to take part in the trip.
She said: "When I had a hereditary tumour removed I decided I wanted to do something a bit different with my life. I've always likes huskies and I love cold weather so this trip was ideal."
Toni is running a raffle and looking for other sponsorship. To help her, call (01642) 230722.
