ARGUABLY Boro's biggest fan, Garry Thorburn is almost certainly the club's best-travelled.
But the Teesside businessman, who has notched up more than 100,000 air miles since August flying back from work commitments in the United States no less than seven times this season, is yet to see his beloved Middlesbrough FC win at home.
Already this season the lifelong Boro fan has jetted in from New York, Little Rock, Houston, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Denver and St Louis for the home games - all of which have ended in defeat.
And Saturday's 3-0 defeat against Leicester proved no different.
Why then, does he bother?
"I honestly don't know," he says. "In business it's quite hard to let yourself go during the week - when I get to the match on Saturdays I let myself go."
