POLICE horses wearing comic antlers launched an anti-Christmas crime initiative - and underlined a Yuletide message.
Cleveland Police want Christmas shopping in Middlesbrough to be both safe and fun.
They are stepping up both uniformed and undercover patrols to make the town centre crime-free, with officers placed on high alert during the countdown to Christmas.
Last year 155 people were arrested by the Christmas patrols, for offences ranging from theft to possession of drugs.
