A SCHOOL is working with a childcare organisation to offer new opportunities for toddlers.
Pre-school staff are training and planning with staff from Bishopton and Redmarshall CE Primary School, in Stockton, to help them to deliver the national foundation stage curriculum.
Darlington Early Years and Childcare Partnership has sponsored the nursery so the school can offer up to five free sessions a week for all four-year-olds and some three-year-olds in the Bishopton area.
Headteacher Gill Wray said: "We are delighted to be able to offer good quality, free nursery education on the school premises.
"This is something which has been needed for a long time."
The nursery will be open for morning and afternoon sessions
