THE family of a teenage girl who fled her home after living a secret life believe she may now be in London.
Lisa-Marie Perry, 17, went missing from her home in Lanchester, County Durham, in October, after pretending to go to work every day despite having lost her job. Her parents also fear she may be pregnant.
Last night, her mother and step-father, Jean-Marie and Will, 38 and 34, were waiting for a video to arrive from police which may show Lisa-Marie calling home from King's Cross railway station in London.
The family had received a call to their home, but the line went dead before anyone was able to speak to the caller.
Consett police established the call was from King's Cross, and yesterday, police were trying to convert CCTV footage from the station so Lisa-Marie's parents would be able to watch it on their home video.
Lisa-Marie was last seen outside the Kofi Shop cafe in North Road, Durham City, on Friday, October 27. She has a distinctive American accent, is 5ft 5in tall, with thick straight brown hair and wears red-framed glasses.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Consett police on (01207) 505204.
