LIBRARY customers in North Yorkshire are being asked to voice their opinions on the quality of the service.
Questionnaires are to be given out at the county's 45 libraries, starting on Monday, and can be posted in a special ballot box.
The library service says the survey has been set up to gather information which will show the Government how it is performing.
Public services librarian, Mike Gibson, said: "We did conduct a user survey in some of our libraries in March this year, but this is the first time we have surveyed in all branches at the same time.
"Though the numbers of people taking part in the survey will be quite small, the results will give us an overall picture of how the library service is perceived.
"We are interested in whether our service is meeting the needs of our customers, and this is an opportunity for them to tell us."
