CIU League
The finals night for the knock-out competitions were held at Crook Belle Vue. In the semi-finals of the darts singles Ronnie McAloon of Byers Green beat Ray Scott of Middlestone Moor 3-2 and Jeff Sneath of Crook Belle Vue beat teammate, Paul Knighton 3-2. Sneath beat McAloon 3-0 in the final.
In the semi-finals of the darts pairs Tommy Ward and Ray Douthwaite of Cockton Hill lost 3-1 to Jeff Sneath and Paul Knighton of Crook Belle Vue, while Ray Scott and Tommy Bell of Middelestone Moor beat Kevin Whitehead and Paul Boucher of Newfield 3-1. In the final Sneath and Knighton beat Scott and Bell 3-1.
In the semi finals of the dominoes singles Kenny Smith of Crook Belle Vue beat Steve Nelson of Billy Row 5-0 and Billy Cooper of Ferryhill beat Jimmy Madgin of Crowtrees 5-1. In the final Smith beat Cooper 5-1.
In the semi finals of the dominoes doubles Bobby Allison and John Miller of Chilton beat Gilly Spark and Bill Coney of Willington, while Harry Coates and Jimmy Smith of Chilton beat Jim Davison and Ivor Phillipson of Crook Belle Vue. In the final Allison and Miller won 5-3.
In the semi finals of the pool singles Peter Race of Cockton Hill beat Mark Kitching of Oakenshaw 2-0 and Steve Wray of Ferryhill beat Steve Webster of Ferryhill 2-1. There was not time to complete the final and so the players tossed a coin with Wray winning to play the game at Ferryhill at a later date.
In the pool doubles Jason Walton and Mark Kitching of Oakenshaw beat the holders, Steve Webster and Steve Burnside of Ferryhill and will now play teammates, Dale Wilson and Kenny Plumpton at a later date.
The league presentation evening will be held at Ferryhill at 7.30pm on Friday, December 1 with no entry charge.
Willington Ladies League
Willington Club went back to the top in both sections after they made good away wins at Willington Brewer's Droop. They lead the darts section by one point from the Prospect Club, who are eight ahead of Hunwick Quarry Burn A.
In the dominoes section, Willington Club are two points ahead of Hunwick Joiners Arms, who have a match in hand. The Black Horse A trail the Joiners by a single point.

Crook Cup
Ithe quarter finals of the competition, which combines snooker and dominoes games, Willington Market failed at home to Crook Spitfire Club. The visitors set up their victory on the snooker table with singles wins from Ronnie Rinaldi, Oswald McCabe, Kenny Johnson and Harry Tate with Rinaldi and Tate taking the doubles point. Only Michael Toward and Gary Trow scored for the Market.
In the dominoes games the Market had singles points from John Blackett, Ian Parrish and Gary Trow, while Harry Tate, Diane Plews and Ronnie Rinaldi won for the Spitfire with Tate and McCabe taking the doubles.
