CHURCHES throughout the Ripon and Leeds Diocese are being asked to give their responses on issues including infidelity, second marriages and homosexuality.
It follows a ground-breaking conference last month to examine controversial questions of human sexuality.
Sixty delegates attended the conference - Living with a Difference - as part of a diocesan study day at St Mark's Church, Harrogate. Many of them have offered to take part in further work, following a top-level church report on the issues.
The diocesan human sexuality task group meets in January to find ways in which the project can be continued.
The aim of the gathering was to spark discussions between people with differing views.
Diocesan spokeswoman Maureen Browell said: "It was a chance to explore difficult questions, but we recognise this is only the first stage.
