A SET of quads, who defied the odds after being born prematurely, have celebrated their fourth birthday.
Jonpaul, Hannah, Simon and Adam Moss-Carbert were the star guests at a party in Cockerton, Darlington, yesterday.
Like any other youngsters of their age, they chose Pokemon gifts for their birthday presents.
The quads, who were born three-months premature, are now looking forward to the next milestone in their life, when they start school in September next year.
They attend Corporation Road Nursery School, Darlington, and hope to join the infant school there.
Their mother, Theresa, and father, Paul, live in Finchdale Crescent.
Mrs Moss-Carbert said: "It's four years now since we had them, and I cannot believe how the time has flown."
Hannah suffers from cerebral palsy, while the boys suffer from asthma.
Mrs Moss-Carbert said: "Hannah is very bright, and although the doctors said she would not talk, her speech is excellent.
"The boys are fine and are typical boys. The main thing though is that they are all brilliant sleepers and can go all through the night without a noise."
