EX-OFFENDERS, unemployed people, special school pupils and people in post-accident rehabilitation have joined forces on a Prince's Trust scheme.
Team 17 from Stockton and Billingham College has just completed a community project as part of its Prince's Trust work.
The group has been laying a hedge which connects Castle Eden Dean with Castle Eden golf course.
The hawthorn hedge was laid using traditional methods from the Middle Ages.
A specialist hedge-layer was employed to train the young people and another group of volunteers from the University of Teesside.
