ASPIRING photographers are hoping to make an impact with a showcase exhibition.
The 22 final year photography students at Cleveland College of Art and Design are busy preparing their end of course show.
About 250 work samples, covering fashion, still life, fine art, documentary, reportage, portrait and sport, will be on display, with help from local businesses.
The majority of its contributors are mature students from as far afield as Germany, Greece and Denmark.
While those behind the event, being planned for the summer, are confident that it will help launch the students' careers, they still require funding to ensure it goes ahead.
Adrian Ray, a lecturer at the college, said: "The people of Teesside and the North-East are very knowledgeable about the arts and will, I am sure, make the most of their chance to see the quality of work being produced at the college."
To help with the exhibition, contact Alan Hampson on (01642) 288 000 or Adrian Ray on 07767 457 331.
