A MAN arrested following the murder of a teacher, was last night reported to be "poorly, but stable" in hospital.
The 43-year-old man is under arrest "in connection with the murder" of his partner, Middlesbrough primary school teacher Lesley Grant. Ms Grant, 40, was found dead with multiple stab wounds in the home the couple moved to about a year ago, in Whitby Road, Loftus.
The unnamed man was taken to Middlesbrough General Hospital with stab wounds after being found in a semi-conscious state in the kitchen, where the body was also found, at the weekend
