A GROUP carrying out a review of day opportunities for disabled people in Hartlepool is eager to hear people's views.
Equal Ability, a consultancy for disabled people, wants to know what people in the town like to do during the day, and what they cannot do now.
The consultation is part of a review of day opportunities being undertaken by Hartlepool Social Services.
Some disabled people already known to social services, as well as the Hartlepool Access Group, and those who use the Havelock Centre, and the centre for the deaf, are being contacted.
More than 80 groups have been sent a letter asking members to get in touch, and there will be an invitation-only forum in December.
Anyone who would like to express their views on what facilities they have, or what they would like to have, should call Equal Ability on (01924) 270335.
