Darlington'S sex shops have been granted permission to extend their opening hours over Christmas.
The Grange Road shop has been granted a variation of its licence to open on Sundays in December, including Christmas Eve. It will be trading between 11am and 4pm on December 3, 10, 17 and 24. The Victoria Road shop has been allowed to open until 8pm from December 11 to 23, and on Sunday, December 17, from 10am to 4pm.
Darlington Borough Council's licensing committee granted the applications yesterday.
