PUPILS at a County Durham comprehensive school brought their non-uniform day forward to raise money for Children In Need.
Teacher Alan Fuller said: "We usually have a non-uniform day near the end of term, but I was approached by year ten students who asked to change the date.
"They then went round and organised the collection and brought it back to the office."
The youngsters raised £395 for Children In Need.
Mr Fuller said: It was a nice event, which came directly from the students.
"We raise money for charity each term, and for this particular one they wanted to put it into Children In Need."
