DETECTIVES are seeking information about an armed robbery at a village store on Saturday night.
A man wearing a ski mask and armed with a crowbar burst into the Co-Op store in Butterwick Road at Fishburn, near Sedgefield, County Durham, at about 8.30pm.
Two female members of staff were threatened, but not injured, and an undisclosed amount of cash stolen from the till.
The man escaped into a waiting car, driven by another man, who also wore a ski mask.
Detective Sergeant Alan Watson, of Newton Aycliffe CID, said: "We are treating this incident very seriously and are anxious to catch these robbers as soon as possible."
