RELATIVES of a teenage girl who ran away from home after living a secret life say they are 90 per cent certain they have spotted her on security camera footage from London.
Lisa-Marie Perry, 17, went missing from her home in Lanchester, County Durham, in October, after pretending to go to work every day, despite having lost her job. Her parents also fear she may be pregnant.
Police recovered the video footage after mother Jean-Marie, 38, and step-father Will, 34, received a phone call to their home from King's Cross railway station in London.
Police traced the call to one phone box at the station and watched hours of security camera footage before giving the tapes to her parents.
But Mr and Mrs Perry could only be 90 per cent sure it was their daughter. Police inquiries are continuing.
Lisa-Marie was last seen in Durham City on October 27.
She has a distinctive American accent, is 5ft 5in tall, with thick straight brown hair and wears red-framed glasses. Anyone with any information is asked to call Consett police on (01204) 505204.
