RADIO station Galaxy Radio plans more fundraising under-18 party nights on Teesside next year - following a successful event in Middlesbrough.
The station has joined forces with the North-East branch of the Prince's Trust, aiming to boost the trust's funds by staging club nights for under 18s, at venues across the region.
It was Newcastle last night, and it will be the turn of South Shields on December 18. A spokeswoman said: "There are plans for the Middlesbrough area and Teesside in the New Year, but the dates have not been confirmed.''
The Baha Boyz, from hit single Who Let the Dogs Out? fame entertained hundreds of youngsters at Middlesbrough last month, an event which has helped raise several thousands pounds for the Prince's Trust.
Jo Williams, the station's marketing manager, said: "The parties have been an overwhelming success, proving that this is a fantastic way for youngsters to have fun and raise money for charity at the same time. We hope that the youngsters realise what a valued contribution they are making to the Prince's Trust, and that one day they may benefit from the trust themselves.''
Dates have yet been finalised for the Teesside re-runs
