A TOWN'S teenagers are about to nominate a representative for their own youth parliament.
A day of fun, music and food is planned for 11 to 18-year-olds. The Middlesbrough Youth Parliament was set up as a joint initiative between Middlesbrough Borough Council, Cleveland Police and the town's young people. The aim is to get youngsters thinking about local issues.
At the Newport Youth and Community Centre this Saturday, the teenage parliamentarians can register their vote for a member to represent them at the UK Youth Parliament's, first sitting in London, in February.
