REGIONAL development agency One NorthEast has unveiled its action plan for reviving the area in the next three years.
The move is the latest step in the agency's ten-year programme for economic revival in the region, and will concentrate on the key priorities and partnerships that will help it to make progress.
The development of sub-regional partnerships, in areas including Tees Valley and Durham, are considered as vital to ensure there is a mutual commitment to making the North-East a success.
Mike Collier chief executive for One NorthEast said: "We are moving the region's exciting strategy forward by breaking down the ten- year plan into bite-sized chunks.
"We are focusing on the next three years as the platform for commitment to achieving specific actions and targets."
