ALEX Farrar-Fry travelled from Halifax and scored a double championship success at the BSPS Area 3a winter qualifying show at Toad Hall, Thirsk.
He was riding the Dartmoor pony Tamborough Red Dragon and claimed his double in the Heritage section.
Lucy Metcalfe had a double win and the reserve champion working hunter with Krestimanci and also had a reserve in the novice show hunter with Karita Country Classic, while Francesca Halder with Douthwaite Bolero clinched the restricted Nursery Stakes.
Lynsey and Jenna Cox both had wins with Valoim and Knowle Song and Dance Man, the latter bred by Anne Furness.
Annelise Stonehouse clinched the restricted show hunter on Mayeath Royal Blessing, out of former Wembley winner Yealand Praise.
Jessica Field had a reserve mini champion with Monavea Magic Rainbow and there was a good win by Hannah Atkinson on Treowen Rhiannon.
Laura Gray from Brafferton was honoured at the Dartmoor Pony Society points presentation in Exeter when she won the Starlight Salver with Hopelaws Woodpecker Too. Laura won the pony club section in the Topspec Performance Awards, as well as taking third in the working hunter, second in showing and second overall.
Wendy Dunn from Kelloe had a tremendous season, with Border Union third in the stallion of the year points, while Elizabeth Carpenter had a sixth in the youngstock with Stanley Grange Vigilante, bred by Jerome Harforth from Great Ayton.
Joanne Green, who lives in Devon, was reserve in the stallion progeny with Senruf Graduate, which was bred by the society's chairman Mrs Margaret Furness.
Mrs Furness also bred Senruf Gladiator, which was sixth in the sire of the year and is a new super premium stallion for 2001
