CIU League
Ferryhill and Crook Belle Vue dominated the collection of darts section trophies at the Presentation Evening. Ferryhill were the league champions with awards going to P Nixon, T Nixon, G Taylor, D Hull, D Bestford, R Brown, K Nicholson, L Richardson, F Snaith and G Spencer.
The runners-up awards went to Crook Belle Vue players J Sneath, P Knighton, B Nesbitt, K Newton, D McCarthy, B Longstaff, D Byrne, J Dixon, J Heathcote, K Hawkey and B Lauder.
The Bill Laverick trophy for the Darts Captain's League went to Crook Belle Vue with Ferryhill taking the runners up award.
The league singles champion was Jeff Sneath of Crook Belle Vue with Ronnie McAloon of Byers Green the runner-up. The League Doubles Champions were Paul Knighton and Jeff Sneath of Crook Belle Vue with Tommy Bell and Ray Scott of Middlestone Moor the runners-up.
The special award of Hot Shot of the Year went to Alan Clarkson of Byers Green for hitting the most maximums in the season.
The Individual Player of the Year was Doug McCarthy of Crook Belle Vue with 21 wins from 24 matches. The runners-up were Phil Nixon and Tony Nixon of Ferryhill with 20 wins each.
Tow Law Cup
Ithe quarter finals Billy Row Club were stretched at Tow Law Cattle Mart before going through on the strength of dominoes wins from Bob Slater and Barry Watson. The Club had dominated the darts games with landlord, Malcolm Boughey taking the only point for the Mart. The Club eventually won 11-7.
Sunniside Comedian entertained Cornsay Royal Oak and almost made a whitewash as the visitors took two points at darts and one at dominoes.
The closest game was at Sunniside Moss Inn, where Tow Law North Point were the visitors whose Ivan Blacker took a singles darts point, while Billy McClay and John Howe took vital singles dominoes points for the Moss to take them to a 10-8 victory.
In the Esh Winning derby dominoes success from the hosts, the Stag's Head took them through to a 10-5 victory over Esh Football Club. The darts were shared at 4-4 but the Stag's dropped one dominoes point when Bobby Hird won for the footballers.

Willington Ladies League
There was a shock in the dominoes section when the visiting Cottles only dropped one point to leaders, Willington Black Horse A. This pushed the Horse down to third place with the Market, one point behind Willington Club and two behind Hunwick Joiners Arms.
In the darts section the Market also caused an upset when they won by the odd point at third placed Hunwick Quarry Burn A. Willington Club lead the section by two points from the Prospect Club, who are two ahead of the Quarry Burn A.
