VOLUNTEERS at a charity shop in Middlesbrough are celebrating the shop's birthday, and the massive amount of money it has raised.
The Imperial Cancer Research Fund shop, in Linthorpe Road, has been open for 17 years, and volunteers have raised more than £800,000.
Area manager Ann Thompson said: "Well done to the staff, some of whom have worked at the shop since it opened. Also a big thank you to our loyal customers."
